Membership Dues

To go on a mission trip you must be:

• A member, partner or volunteer
• Over 18 years old
• Have a valid passport
• Willing to work long hours
• Have some level of experience in administrative/logistical work, documentation and conference assistance
• Willing to work as a team or individually
• An active member of a  RCCG parish in Canada, and have the endorsement of parish pastor
• Eager to contribute to, learn from, and share in international experiences

God the Father is the creator of heaven and earth who made man in His own image and likeness.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the God head. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit... is the comforter and teacher of all things, who dwells within us, uniting us to Christ.

Salvation...  is a gift from God through the grace and faith in Jesus Christ. That all who believe in the name of Jesus Christ may be saved by turning from sin to repentance and trusting in His death and resurrection.

The Blood of Jesus  Christ...  which was shed for us at Calvary, cleanses us of all sins and grants us access into the presence of God.

Spiritual Healing... is available from God through prayer and, or the laying on of hands.

The Power of Demonstration of Love and Compassion... By supporting missionaries & getting involved in communities ravaged by disease & poverty, we are also fulfilling the prophesy of setting the captives free, healing the broken hearted,   spreading the gospel and destroying the works of Satan.

In 1996, the wife of the General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God ("RCCG") Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye (also known as "Mummy Go") visited the missions' fields in West African area. Her findings can be summarized in one phrase "that the missions urgently required assistance." This led to the birth of West Committee that focused on assisting all RCCG missions in West Africa sub- regions by ensuring that they have the basic infrastructure with which to function. The scope of the committee was enlarged to include the rest of Africa after Mummy GO again visited the missions in central, east and South Africa. The name of the committee was changed to African missions committee. To date, the committee has chapters in Abuja and Lagos.

The Church

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has a vision to spread the Word of God to the ends of the earth. It is a Bible believing church, where the teaching and a missionary approach emphasize the proper conduct and moral behavior of people. The church has an appeal to all types of people worldwide, with a determination to teach people in their various geographical areas, stages of secular life and levels of spiritual development. 

The General Overseer of the church is Pastor E.A. Adeboye. 

The church was founded in 1952 and since then, the church has grown to over 5,000 parishes worldwide with a total congregational strength of over one million people. 
Presently, there are established missions in many African countries, as well as Europe, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia. 
RCCG has also been involved in establishing schools, rehabilitation centers, child care and support centers.

Africa Missions Canada has the primary assignment of working to support the work in East Africa:

Many of the missionaries have given up hope that anyone cared about their pain, hopelessness and despair.

Seeing that poverty in African communities was a major hindrance to the success of missionaries in many mission fields in Africa, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye founded Africa Missions (a ministry of the Redeemed Christian Church of God) in 1994. 

Africa Missions Canada is an international Christian organization with a mandate to heal the brokenhearted, to set at liberty those who are oppressed and transform the lives of the less privileged people of Africa. 

Our Vision is to promote the spread of the gospel in Africa and around the world; to promote the development of sustainable holistic programs; to provide services that improve the quality of life of children, youth, and families in Africa.
